Riverside Tower 1 was built in 1979 and was one of Calgary's first attempt to create an urban village type of community. The building was home to many visitors during the 1988 Olympics and as well both Barbara Streisand and Don Johnson even called it home for a short while in the late '80's.

It is ideally located being just steps away from the Bow River walk/bike pathway and Edworthy park. It is also within walking distance to both Foothills and Alberta Children's Hopitals. The University of Calgary's main and hospital campuses are also walkable. The downtown core is accessible either on your bike via the Bow River pathway or on the #1 bus which stops just outside the building.

The unit itself is incredibly sunny with lots of windows facing mostly West with dining and kitchen windows looking up Shaganappi Hill. There is a 24 hour concierge on duty so you never have to worry about deliveries or picking up your parcel. There is underground heated parking for 1 vehicle and quite often another can be rented when availability comes around. There is also reduced membership to the Riverside Sports club attached with a 4 lane salt water pool.
